Data Applications → Oracle EBS for Google Cortex Setup Guide

This guide provides the steps to set up Incorta to ingest EBS data and push it into the Google Cortex framework.

Step 1: Install Incorta Developer Edition

Step 2: Install the EBS Order to Cash Data Application

Step 3: Configure The Incorta Data Destination to write to Google BigQuery

Step 4: Load data into Incorta and the BigQuery destination

Step 1: Install Incorta Developer Edition

With Incorta, there are a number of way to activate and implement the platform.

  • Hosted On-Premises
    • Hosted on VM (Cortex default)
  • Incorta Cloud solution

For Google customers, the default is to install Incorta (on-premises) as a VM on GCP. Please follow this guide.

If you are a new customer of Incorta, please contact the Incorta team to gain access to Incorta Cloud or On-Premises.

For existing customers of Incorta, please ensure you are on version 2024.7.x or above.

Step 2: Install the Incorta EBS Order to Cash Data Application

To review the assets of the EBS Order to Cash (O2C) Data app, please read the application overview documentation.

Please use the following guides to install the O2C data app:

Step 3: Configure the Incorta Data Destination to write and load data to Google BigQuery

Use the following documentation to configure the data destination.

Note

By default, the Google BigQuery data destination is assigned to the schemas, and the target schema is set to CORTEX_ORACLE_CDC. You must update the target schema name to the value defined in the Cortex config.json file. Incorta will create and write the dataset to BigQuery when the schemas are loaded. Please verify that these settings have been configured for all the schemas that are sent to BigQuery.

Step 4: Load data into Incorta and the BigQuery destination

Use the following guide to load data into Incorta and subsequently into BigQuery.

This guide will take you through strategies for completing an initial full load, developing subsequent incremental loads, and deleted record handling.
