Release Notes 5.2.5
The 5.2.5 release is bringing several enhancements and fixes into the 5.2.x release to make sure Incorta is more stable, engaging, and reliable. In addition, Incorta is now supporting aggregate filters in pivot table insights. Incorta is also introducing the new "Allow Cloud Disk Space Monitoring" configuration in the Cluster Management Console (CMC).
Upgrade considerations
- You must run the Versioning Migration Tool if you are upgrading from an Incorta version prior to 5.1.x.
- To migrate your load jobs history, you must run the
migratejobs.shfile script located at<incorta_installation_path>/IncortaNode/incorta.jobsmigration.5.1/. - Sending dashboard attachment size has increased by approximately 60% as a result of the additional features added. Ensure allowing your mail server attachment limit matches that increase.
Both of the insights over result sets and Incorta SQL Table features are now GA fully supported product features.
What's new?
Oracle metadata database support
In this release, Incorta is supporting Oracle as a metadata database. Currently, Incorta supports Oracle database versions 12c and 19c. For more information, refer to Installation Requirements.
Support Aggregate filter in Pivot table visualizations
Incorta now supports aggregate filters for Pivot table visualizations. For more information, refer to Visualizations → Pivot Table.
Allow Cloud Diskspace Monitoring configuration
Incorta is adding a new configuration to the CMC. The Allow Cloud Diskspace Monitoring option is under Clusters > Cluster Configurations > Server Configurations > Diagnostics. When you enable this option, you will be able to see the Shared Directory Diskspace under Monitoring > Tenants. This configuration is applied to cloud storage only and it is disabled by default. Enabling this configuration is not recommended and it might increase the number of I/O operations on your cloud storage. For more information, refer to Guides → Configure Server.
