Exporting and Importing Objects

You can export objects from Incorta and import them to move them from one tenant to another (for example, from a devevlopment tenant to a production tenant).

Objects in Incorta include:

  • Tenants
  • Schemas
  • Business schemas
  • Session variables
  • Dashboards
  • Schedules
  • Data sources
  • Data alerts

To export, import, and list objects, use the command line.

You can export all objects or one object at a time. You can also choose to list all objects.

When you export an object, Incorta saves the objects in a zip file, with a prefix that identifies the object type. For example, for a tenant export, the zip file will be named tenant_<filename>.zip.
